The DIET, Mon has been marching ahead steadily making strides in primary and elementary Teacher Education programme at District level. Efforts are being made to put the Teacher Education system on a sound pedestal. The DIET, Mon with inherent flexibilities has potential to meet substantially the challenge of Teacher Education programme in Mon district. We are providing quality teacher training to both Pre- Service and In-Service Teacher Trainees. We are making our students enrich in content area, skills in teaching and latest trends in the teaching of different school subjects based on child centered and constructivist approach. Our main objective is to prepare quality teachers to facilitate every student to realize the full potential and also empower teachers to achieve professional competency to cope with rapid advancement in the field of education and technology.
